Founded by Anita Adebayo, a UK-based entrepreneur with a deep love for style and culture, the brand was built as a celebration of the modern African woman.
Growing up surrounded by the vibrant colours and bold patterns of African fashion, Anita always believed that clothing was a form of self-expression. She started EssenceByDevontee to bring that belief to life — curating timeless, affordable pieces that blend African heritage with contemporary style.
